Emergency 4 on Virtualbox

Hi, is it possible to play em4 on virtualbox?

I try to install...game started, dark windows and then desktop....always...

Host OS: ubuntu
Guest OS: Windows 10

It certainly is but the performance might not match your expectations. The "Windows XP Mode" VM offered the best experience for me.

If you do not install from the ISO image make sure to install the latest DirectX 9 as a dependency for Emergency 4. This is likely whats missing for your installation in the first place.
Consider uploading the logfile as otherwise diagnosis becomes a terrible guesswork.

Nothing to do, game seems to start but crash at first windows.
This is the log file.
Is there a solution?

Aside from DX9 did you install Direct3D support from within the Guest Additions?

I did increase the VRAM to 256MB from the command line and enabled 3D acceleration from the settings, yet when i try to install Guest Additions along with Direct3D Support, Direct3D box is disabled and i cannot check the box even though i met the requirements mentioned in the description box.
