  • Problem with starting the game

    Welcome.

    I have a problem with starting 911: First Responders. When it tries to start the game it starts but after about 5 seconds it turns off by itself. The game is started immediately after installation and no modifications are made.
    I have had this kind of problem for about a week now and I cannot find the right solution or the cause of the problem.

    What I did:

    Start the game in compliance mode - Negative result
    The game has been uninstalled and reinstalled - Negative result
    Check the consistency of the game files and start the game - Negative Result
    Uninstall new updates - Negative result
    Uninstall newly uploaded drivers - Negative result
    Install the latest drivers - Negative result
    Install the latest system updates - Negative result

    Hardware specifications:

    Processor: Intel Core i7-6700HQ
    Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
    Type of graphics card: Dedicated
    SATA 7200-RPM HDD - the ultimate HDD in the industry. 1000 GB
    16 GB RAM (SO-DIMM DDR4, 2133MHz)
    Current Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

    I would ask you to help me find the potential cause of the error and to help me solve the problem.

    Thank you for your interest in the problem.

    I have installed a sample problem you gave me, but it did not help to solve the problem.

    In the appendix you will find a logfile file which can be used by someone who is an expert to read what can cause a problem.

  • Ok, this indeed helps. There seems to be a problem with the sound card, not the video card.
    First I would check if there is any obvious problem with it. Press Win + R and enter devmgmt.msc. In the "Device Manager" you look for "Sound-, Video- and Gamecontrollers" and check if there are any exclamation marks or question marks. If so, there is a problem with the driver. We also need to know which sound chip is installed, e.g. "Realtek High Definition Audio". Then you can search for a suitable driver. If it is a "general" name like "High definition audio device" this could mean that only a general driver is installed, which could also be a problem as many devices have specialised drivers.
    Which drivers did you already update? I guess the graphics drivers?

    That's how graphics drivers were installed before. But I've just updated the sound card drivers as well and unfortunately it didn't work. The problem persists in the same way. If you need additional information to help solve your problem, I can help.
  • Due to the fact that I was going to format the computer I did this and then I installed it on a clean game system and it works properly.
