Scenario Script



    • Wir haben heute Vorbereitungen getroffen für ein "Play Guitar"- Event, was wir bald als Tutorial anbieten. Da zeigen wir mal wie man an Equipment kommt, dieses auf ein Ziel anwendet und Interaktionen gestaltet (Gitarre ertönt, Fan dreht sich zum Gitarristen und jubelt sobald er fertig ist mit spielen + Event ist geschafft)

    • Nach einer kleinen Pause geht es weiter. KillerConsti war wieder sehr fleißig und hat vorallem das Event-System ausgebaut. Aber auch der Support von MouseClick-Commands ist nun deutlich besser geworden.
      Weitere Infos zu den neuen Funktionen findet ihr wie immer in den Dokumentationen

      Es wird demnächst bestimmt noch das ein oder andere Tutorial-Video dazu geben

    • Ab der nächsten Version kann man "Scenario Scripts" modübergreifend verwenden (der Mod muss nur aktiv sein).

      Im Moment versuchen wir einen neuen Mod zu entwickeln, der dem Spiel basierend auf dem "Scenario Script"-Plugin neue FreeplayEvents hinzufügt. Falls noch jemand Ideen für neue Einsätze freuen wir uns, falls ihr sie uns mitteilt ;)
    • Ich habe seid längeren das Problem dass ich keine MapScripts auf selbsterstellten Maps zum laufen bekomme. Ich habe es bis jetzt schon mit Maps: All und dem Mapnamen meiner eigenen Map versucht. Auf den Standartmaps laufen die Scripts normal.

    • Frage:
      hostet ihr irgendwo den Source-Code des Plugins? Wenn ja, wo?
      Die Idee eines wikis ist echt gut, allerdings finde ich die Umsetzung dessen eher ungewohnt für eine API. Ja, wenigstens gibt es die Doku ( :rolleyes: :thumbup: ), aaaber z.B. doxygen bietet da halt nicht nur eine optisch ansprechendere Form, sondern auch mehr Struktur und erweiterte Möglichkeiten für zusätzliche Erklärungen. Eine einfache html-Page zu hosten sollte ja heute (siehe Mini-Mod-Website) kein Problem mehr sein.

      Ansonsten natürlich: coole Idee! Habe mich persönlich zwar nicht tiefer damit auseinander gesetzt, aber es ist ja offensichtlich, dass neue Modder viel einfacher über eine Scriptsprache+Texteditor herangeführt werden können.

      Professionelle Software benötigt eben mehr als Intel HD und 4GB RAM!

      Im Moment nicht, die Resonanz von der Community ist nunja... bescheiden (außer @emergency call 911 der ist ne positive Ausnahme).
      Wir können den Source Code für die 1.5 gerne hochladen (außer Carlie sagt etwas anderes). Ich warne aber gleich mal vor. Es ist so geschrieben, das wir Mega-Schnell neue Sachen einbinden können, jedoch etwas unübersichtlich für alle anderen.

      Über die API - mit Doxygen würde das wahrscheinlich nix bringen, weil die Parameter erst in der Cpp zugewiesen werden. Dennoch werden wir versuchen etwas eigenes zu hosten sobald Stillstand erkennbar ist.

      Das genze ist übrigens aus der Idee entstanden, dass wir neue Events erstellen wollten, diese aber über einen Editor erstellbar sein sollen. Wir sind ein bisschen übers Ziel hinausgeschossen und haben u.a. erreicht, das man kleine Events schon mit weniger als 10 Zeilen in Notepad erstellen kann :thumbsup: . Ichh werde in den nächsten Tagen noch 2-3 Funktionen basteln mit denen man zwischen Mods Kombatibilät herstellen kann, die vorher nur mit Mühe zusammengefügt werden konnten.
      Außerdem werden ich und carlie in Zukunft noch ganz viel mit dem Plugin arbeiten. Die ersten Events sind schon fertig für die neuste Version vom Minimod und es gibt soviel mehr was möglich ist :D (z.B. auch Kampagnen)

    • Bei mir will das PlayGuitarEvent nicht wirklich funktionieren. Alles funktioniert perfekt, bis zum Mouseclick-Command. Dort wird mir kein Icon angezeigt.
