Liebe Community,

nach langem Warten ist es endlich so weit! Wir veröffentlichen heute die Community-Version von ERS Berlin. Nachdem wir vom 5. bis 12. Juni 2010 auf der Interschutz in Leipzig bereits an vier Spielekonsolen eine erste spielbare Version der Modifikation zeigen konnten, haben wir eine Menge positives Feedback und konstruktive Kritik bekommen. In den letzten Monaten wurde viel Arbeit in die Modifikation investiert, um diese für ein Community Release möglichst attraktiv und fehlerfrei zu gestalten. Ab dem 24. September 2010 lief ein begrenzter Beta-Test, wodurch viele Fehler aufgedeckt und behoben werden konnten. An dieser Stelle noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Beta-Tester! Nachdem in den letzten Tagen auch unser Updater- und Lastverteilungssystem fertig implementiert und von den Betatester positiv vertestet werden konnte, steht einem Release nichts mehr im Wege.

Ihr könnt euch die Setup-Datei des Updaters unter folgendem Link herunterladen:

Der Updater übernimmt den Download und die Installation der Modifikation und hält sie im weiteren Verlauf immer aktuell. Die notwendigen Schritte sollten selbsterklärend sein ;)

Dear Community,

after a long period of waiting, we are now ready! We publish the community version of ERS Berlin today. We received a lot of feedback and fair comments after showing a first playable version of our modification on four game stations from 5. till. 12. June 2010 at the Interschutz in Leipzig. In the last few month a lot of work was done to achieve an attractive and as much as possible bug free version for the community release. On 24. September 2010 a limited beta test war started, which revealed a lot of bugs that we fixed afterwards. I will use this place to thanks again all beta testers for the invested work! After some debugging sessions in the last few days our Updater and load balance system was finished and tested positive, so that we are ready to rumble.

The Updater carries about the download and installation of our modification and keeps it up-to-date. The necessary steps should be self-explanatory ;)
